SAFE via conex™ the solution for the management of safety and security declarations and the exchange of electronic messages with customs administrations.
EU ICS 1 :
The SAFE via conex™ software solution - ICS1 has made it possible to manage advance security declarations for goods imported into the EU since the security regulation came into force 12 years ago.
EU ICS2 :
The SAFE via conex™ ICS2 software solution is the new version based on the new ICS2 regulations, the purpose of which is to improve the quality of security declarations related to goods imported into the EU.
SAFE via conex™ currently covers the European Import Control System (ICS1) for all modes of transport (until ICS2 progressively takes its place) with 25 Member States supported directly. Since the United Kingdom’s exit from the EU, SAFE via conex™ also supports the requirements of the new British security system, GB S&S.
Our SAFE via conex™ solution, updated for ICS2, enables the communication of advance cargo information for safety and security risk analysis for all transport modes, including air, maritime, road, rail and inland waterways.
ICS2 is made up of several versions, called Release 1, Release 2 and Release 3 (see our FAQ for details).
The version currently being deployed, ICS2 R2, applies to air movements. These movements are particularly affected by a number of new rules, as follows:
